The penultimate event of “The Great Challenge”: the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Michel Vaillant gets off to a flying start under the watchful eye of Henri Vaillant, who later signals him to “ease off” using a baton displayed at Mulsanne.
Michel finds himself in fifth place, right behind Steve Warson’s No. 12 Lister Jaguar. They decide to make a joint pit stop for their first refueling and driver change. Jean-Pierre Vaillant is ready to take over.
